Inspiring the Future Workforce

As part of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Business Festival a group of Year 10 students visited local business Thomas Dudley. Prior to the visit they spoke to students about how they thought businesses could help them prepare for the world of work. During the visit they put the students’ ideas to business leaders. These ideas included how businesses could provide mentoring, assemblies, help with business skills and work taster sessions.

Nital Patel wrote: “We presented our ideas of how businesses could help students to get prepared for work. At the start I was quite nervous to speak in front of all the people but my confidence soon grew. I would be happy to do it again. I had a wonderful day.”
